Tech Lead – Java/ExtJS

Duties -

Lead developer for front end distributed Risk Management applications using Java 1.7 and Spring

Provide user Interface perspectives of the development process

Demonstrate strong JavaScript knowledge and experience. The framework is with Sencha EXT-JS

Lead the development of building JavaScript wrappers. Wrap the GUI widget to work with HTML5) enabling it to be used on various technologies

 

*Candidates need to understand the "Sencha way". The way Java code is structured a certain way b/c of what Sencha ExtJS allows

*Need to have experience building applications of reasonable complexity using EXT-JS

 

Required skills – this is an agile - scrum based process

 

1. Help set the use test cases and lead by example. Should be able to write their own test cases and review others with theirs
2. Lead test driven Dev process
3. Write JavaScript test cases embedded into the build process – taking the user interface Framework and documenting and sharing and communicating to other teams making sure features are accommodating requirements
4. Compliance with SDLC
5. Strong Java and JavaScript development experience
6. Senior Level Developer with demonstrated experience developing framework level components (both Server-side (JAVA) and Rich Client-side (JavaScript/HTML5)
7. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a large, global development teams
8. Ability to define and enforce development standards and processes
9. Experience developing Web and Mobile based applications
10. Spring framework experience
11. Any mapping technologies: Hibernate, MyBatis, JPA, JDO
12. Experience managing web servers with a large memory footprint in UNIX (JVM tuning, memory profiling, performance tuning, scalability/load testing, load balance, clustering, failover/recovery)
13. Hands on Relational Database SQL: ORACLE or Sybase
