Microstrategy Business Intelligence Report Developer Job Type:   Direct Hours:   Full Time Travel:  No Relocation:  No
Job Description 
Work on the reporting team to understand requirements; design and develop queries to best meet the requirements
‒ Perform detailed data analysis, validation, and identify data quality issues
‒ Create ad-hoc queries and reports as requested and provide on-going analytical support for these requests
‒ Use MicroStrategy for developing dynamic dashboards
‒ Tune MicroStrategy queries to run efficiently in a large data volume environment
‒ Train users on on MicroStrategy reporting tool usage
‒ Provide production support for MicroStrategy reports users 



Required Qualifications 
Experience developing large scale systems
‒ Experience in one or more structured programming languages (C++, C#/.Net, PL/SQL, etc.)
‒ Experience developing interfaces to Oracle or other SQL-based databases
‒ Experience working in controlled development, testing and production environments
‒ Experience using Agile-based methodologies (such as Extreme Programming and Scrum) within a software development function
‒ Experience in reporting and business intelligence applications
‒ Strong data analysis and SQL skills
‒ Sound understanding of the Microstrategy reporting tool capabilities
‒ Understanding of capital markets/ asset management is a plus
‒ Microstrategy data modeling skills is a plus
‒ MicroStrategy Certified Developer will be a plus
‒ Basic understanding of finance, fixed income securities and derivatives
‒ Strong written and oral communication skills
‒ Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
‒ Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
‒ Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision
‒ Candidate must be willing to work in Wilton, CT and travel to Manhattan
‒ Ability to work in a high pressure agile environment
