f there was ever a cautionary tale against becoming selfie-obsessed, this is it.

The first reaction to this video is, "Whoa! What just happened there?" Quickly followed by, "What was the guy doing?"

YouTube user Jared Michael uploaded a video, going viral now, that he claims is of him trying to click a selfie, gone wrong.

The attempted selfie was being taken too close to a running train. And eventually he got kicked in the face and probably out of the way of the speeding train by the conductor. The well-timed kick may have saved his life, but what on earth was Jared Michael thinking?

Oh, wait. He wasn't thinking.

But is Jared Michael's video for real? If it is a hoax, then haha but not really. And if it really is a selfie-gone-wrong-but-not-as-wrong-as-it-could-have-gone, then may Jared Michael's tribe never increase.
