timmy Posted April 20, 2014 Report Posted April 20, 2014 According to the latest reports, Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L Narsimhan has fiinally sanctioned premier national institute Indian Institute of Technology to the successor state of Andhra Pradesh. Governor has formally signed the documents on Saturday. However, there is no clue on where the new IIT will be set up in Seemandhra. Probably, the coming government will take a call on it. Already, India has 16 IITs located at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee and Varanasi. After this new one in Seemandhra, the total count of IITs in India will be 17.With united AP heading for split into Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Seemandhra got a raw deal. As part of compensation, HRD Ministry has approved an IIT, IIM and 3 other central universities to region. This is certainly a sigh of relief to people of Seemandhra.

By the way i am from WG. srikakulam..vizianagaram...valla ki dooram ayipothundi....vijayawada lo unte...andariki daggara ga untundi....etununchi etaina.. 7-8 hrs journey anthe....so it should be d place...
