1) Ask him to take off from work or work from home 1 week prior to the date.
2) Ask the couple to take the tour of the hospital. This helps to avoid confusion during labor process.
3) You can't predict the date exactly when it will happen,so be prepared to stay a week more or less.
4)No need to worry on the names Of the baby before. They will have a day or two to discuss with their parents back in India and decide on the letter( if they are particular abt it).
5) ask him to store the numbers of the few cabs on his wife's phone. If for some reason he is not available,they can call taxi and reach the hospital.
6) be prepared with car seat.
7) don't forget to call the doctor before you start from home to hospital.
8) ask him to assure his wife that he will stand by her in the entire process and support her. provide moral strength to her.
9) time will not come back so cherish the moment.
