Etihad Airways, Hyd To Ord Through Abudabi

Hi,

 

If we are travelling from HYD --> Abudabi --> Chicgo through Etihad.

I heard that, we will go through immigration check at Abudabi  insted at US port of entry.

If this is true, should we collect our checked in Baggage at Abudabi and go through immigration check?

you don't have to....once u check in at Hyd u will collect ur luggage in ord.. Once u get off the flight u will be directed to baggage claim...this is somewhat similar to domestic... Immigration will be at Abu Dhabi .... Once u get off at Abu Dhabi u should go towards gates 58,59,60,61...

I m having 2n1/2 hours time gap for my connecting flight, is it sufficient.

those gates are at Abu Dhabi man...mostly 2.5 hrs saripotundi...around 1000 passengers untaru around same time for those 4 gates....
