NO.you are wrong.Your demerit points will stay ..only that you have 2 more points extra cushion for your license to not to get suspended..for eg: if you accumulate more than 15 demerit points your license will be suspended..but if you gain 2 points from defensive driving course,instead of 15 points you will be allowed till 17 points !
