I don't think the bold statement is entirely true.

 

My friends wife who got an extension on H1B last year got a call from USCIS. 

The problem is the petition mentioned that she is working from home and maybe that triggered the call.

First they called the employer and collected all the information about where she is working and role and other details.

Then one person visited her home (Work from home address in H1B petition) in Texas but since she already moved to a different state on a job they could not find her at that address.

Now she got a call after 45 min directly and they started asking why she is not at that address and so on and so forth.

Luckily the employer called her within that gap and told her what to answer when they call ( so that their both answers match).

She was asked to mail the recent paystubs after the call.

 

I would say it was a narrow escape. This happened in 2011.

 

This is not a fake story and neither i get anything to post here. It is my  close friend and i know it is true. They were terrified for a week after that call and luckily everything got resolved.

yes they do call...it may not be the direct call from an analyst who reviews ur case but...nuvvu pay chese fee lo $500 fpu ki velthundhi which is their duty to prevent fraud....
