my opinion is that ilayaraja is gr8 composer but i think he didn't commercialize himself as rehman
i mean to say rehman is gr8 composer but with his brilliance he has spread his music around the world
and to this he also added his nag of promoting himself

Generation Gap...Ilayaraja up to 90...after entering of AR REHMAN the music language changes....it's a bad comparision at present AR REHMAN  is Good than Ilayaraja...on a whole we can't compare Both of them Rock's..In few more years Rehman's era will also completed....
