Responsibilities:

• Develop technical design documentation that meets identified functional requirements.
• Develop maintainable application code which meets the architectural, design and functional requirements.
• Provide technical and functional support of applications used by the Legislature and respond to client concerns and requests.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Design, code, and implement unit tests.
• Develop analysis, deployment plans and provide pre and post support for application release cycles.
• Work effectively in a team environment and with virtual teams as needed.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience developing applications using the Microsoft .NET platform.
• Expertise participating in the SDLC using Team Foundations Server including task management and build automation.
• Proficient in developing web applications using ASP.net/ ASP.net MVC.
• Database design and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or greater.
• Knowledge of Microsoft development products such as Visual Studio .NET 2008 or greater using C#, and Team Foundation Server.
• Understanding of Microsoft .NET Framework features such as WCF and LINQ.
• Knowledge and experience developing web applications screens using JQuery, CSS, and HTML.
