There are two parliament and 15 Assembly constituencies in West Godavari district whereas East Godavari has three parliament constituencies and 19 Assembly segments.According to ground report, TDP-BJP combination is going to sweep East and West Godavari districts. As per the extensive survey done constituency-wise, TDP-BJP is likely to pocket 90% of Assembly seats in both East and West Godavri seats.Coming to Lok Sabha there is 100% chances for winning ELuru (Maganti Venkateswara Rao) and Narsapur (Gokaraju Ganga Raju) in West Godavari districts and the case is no different in East Godavari as Rajahmundry (Murali Mohan), Amalapuram (Dr. P. Ravindra Babu), Kakinada (Thota Narasimham) have clear edge for TDP-BJP pact. Jagan-led YSRCP will be confined to second place and may also stand third in few constituencies.Reason: East and West Godavari districts have strong Kapu community-base. Post bifurcation, Kapus are unlikely to sail with Chiru, Congress. With none other than superstar Pawan Kalyan extending full-fledge support to TDP and BJP, their victory is going to be cake walk. Already, TDP has strong foothold in the region. After Chandra Babu's assurance of 15 years special status for Seemandhra and Modi promising full support, nobody could stop the TDP-BJP wave.
