Ambani is not producing even a third of the gas that ONGC is producing.. you are overestimating Ambani, and underestimating the bureaucrats that head these PSUs. You are underestimating the power of oil minister over those bureaucrats who will be bought by Ambani..

Ambani is a convenient scapegoat. His involvement, though true, is limited. gas pricing in India is a total farce. Its better to import LNG from middle east.
