Former Union Minister and legendary NTR's daughter Daggubati Purandeswari seems to have overcome the hurdles. Going by ground reports, Purandeswari is turning the tides in Rajampet Lok Sabha constituency from where she is in fray on BJP ticket.

Contrary to previous reports, Purandeswari managed to carve out a niche for herself in Rajampet. Although she was forced to move from sitting Vizag Parliament constituency, Purandeswari's rigorous hard work and reaching out to masses in rural villages are working in favour of her. Given that she is a woman, and NTR's daughter sentiment too coming in handy for Purandeswari. With TDP and Pawan Kalyan publicly supporting her candidature, Purandeswari is racing ahead. Above all, Narendra Modi wave is alive and that's what moving Purandeswari forward compare to other contenders.

Purandeswari is fighting with Congress sitting MP Sai Prathap and YSR Congress Mithun Reddy who is 36-year-old. Since Mithun is a novice, he has less chances compared to veterans Purandeswari and Sai Prathap. Adding to it, Congress position is critical in Seemandhra and winning MP is may be out of question as one need to score well in Assembly segments as well. Going by all these, Purandeswari has winning chances alive. However, the final call will be taken by people. The elections will be held on May 7 and results will be out on May 16. Let's wait and see.
