City States Are The Future.

lets take any SA city as base. I don't want to specify which one, because this is not a discussion on which city is best for capital.

 

avg population : 2 million. approx.

 

metro area : 150 sq km approx.

 

If we have citizens living in every other part of SA migrate to the said city, keeping the current density, the entire population of SA can be fit inside a city that is around 4000 sq km.

 

the area is about 1/5th the size of chittoor district.

 

sounds like a reasonable thing to do..

 

This liberates all lands in SA, can end feudalism in those smaller towns and villages by big landowners.

 

It can also be a big check on cultural domination of castes like Reddy/Kapu/Kamma etc.

 

Now, once such city states are established, we can dissolve nation states away and have greek/roman style city states.

 

I want to live in such a state.
