KCR To Support Rahul As PM!

 

n a startling revelation, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Friday asserted that his party would support AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi in becoming the Prime Minister.

KCR told media that the TRS would extend support to Rahul Gandhi to become Prime Minister.

He said, “Of course, talks were on with various like-minded parties on Third Front which will be in place at the Centre. If it does not work out, the TRS is determined to extend support to AICC chief Sonia Gandhi and help Rahul Gandhi to become Prime Minister”, he maintained.

The TRS president said there was no Modi mania in the country as a section of the media was creating a hype.

KCR asserted that the BJP-led NDA would not come to power at the Centre. Rejecting some media reports that BJP leader Gujarat chief minister  Narendra Modi will be the next Prime Minister, KCR said, “the people are neither in favor of the BJP nor its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi”.

Perhaps for the first time after the general elections, the TRS chief said he remains grateful to AICC president Sonia Gandhi for conceding statehood to Telangana.

“I have no enmity towards Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi personally. It is because of Sonia, we have got Statehood and it is our duty to be thankful to the Congress”, he reiterated.

There was no chance for the NDA to return to power at the Centre and the TRS will not support it at any cost. If necessary, the TRS will support the UPA to form the Government at the Centre, he added.
