Hi Frndz,

I need some help in implementing SSIS.

I am trying to connect to oracle db from ssis package using odbc ....

i was trying to provide connection string and connect...

But i am getting an error....

it says connection could not be instantiated....

Can some one provide some guidance of how to provide a connection string , like the exact format..

I have host name, port no, service name, user id and password....are these enough??

Could anyone please provide the connection string syntax for above info..

also is it possible to set the connection string in a variable and call in the connection of an oledb source ??
