Sekar Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Hi Friends , Greetings,I have attached the description of the position I am working on to fill, If you are interested please send me your updated resume to my email id "[email protected]" or get me on 718-487-9837 Ext : 103..Job Description: Position Summary: - Participate in the full development cycle of Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Implementation, debugging and tuning of data centric applications - Participate in Logical & Physical Database Layout Design - Develop Advance Oracle SQL DDL/DML scripts, PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, triggers and materialized views to implement data integrity constraints and business logic - Write complex queries, views, and data manipulation statements. Understand and use local and distributed truncations in multiuser environment - Develop transactional data APIs. Work collaboratively with other application developers to provide them with necessary queries, views and stored procedures and the necessary insight into the data layer - Fine-tune procedures and SQL statements for optimal performance - Improve the performance of existing applications by making changes on the database side. Requirements: - Solid experience in SQL, PL/SQL Development, Analysis, Design and Implementation of Business Applications using the Oracle RDBMS- Experience in Database Application Development, logical and physical data design, Optimization and Performance Tuning- Expertise in application development using Oracle 11r2g/10g SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*PLUS- Excellent technical and analytical skills with clear understanding of design goals of ER modeling for OLTP and Data Wheelhouse applications- Experience with Data flow diagrams, Data dictionary, Database normalization theory techniques, Entity relation modeling and design techniques- Strong Experience in developing database objects like tables, indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL- Experience in effective usage of Query factoring, Analytical functions, Table Functions, Collections, Compound triggers, Partition Tables and Materialized Views- Experience in the development of materialized views for data replication in distributed environments- Experience in Oracle supplied packages, Dynamic SQL, Records and PL/SQL Tables.- Knowledge of using large Partitioned Tables and advanced partition techniques- Experience in SQL performance tuning using Cost-Based Optimization (CBO)- Good knowledge of key Oracle performance related features such as Query Optimizer, Execution Plans, Indexes and optimizer HINTS- Experience in complete System Development Life Cycle- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical skills and strong ability to perform as part of a team.
