Job Description:

Position Summary:


The person will be tasked with defining an architecture and specification for a collection of seamless and well integrated SharePoint sites to serve the needs of the organization. He or she will be responsible for all aspects of the work involved from requirements to architecture to technical implementation. The person will lead a small team of developers and will need to set the example and provide guidance to the team. In addition to being the team lead, the successful candidate will be hands on and will spend a large part of his or her day developing technology for this platform.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience developing with Microsoft tools and technologies, specifically C# and the .net platform.
• Minimum of three years of experience developing applications for SharePoint
• Minimum of three years of experience developing SharePoint workflows and Windows Workflow Foundation workflows
• Experience designing and developing web sites and web-based applications
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with developers as well as end users

Desired Skills

• Experience integrating SharePoint and SharePoint workflows with LOB applications and systems
• Experience with SharePoint 2013
• Previous experience designing and architecting large scale applications and systems
• Familiarity and experience with agile development methodologies and all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Ability
• Familiarity with financial services and capital markets
• Familiarity with Oracle and SQL
• Must be a team player and self starter .
