Bride calls off marriage midway after finding groom drunk

#Durg #Chhattisgarh In a recent incident in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, a bride called off her marriage midway after she figured out that the groom was drunk.

The bride already had a hint that the groom was drunk when the rituals had started. But she revolted when the groom stumbled during marriage vows.

According to a report published in Patrika, the whole city is praising the girl for her brave decision. I don't want to spend my life with a drunkard, said the girl.

Five years ago, the bride's father had died because of excessive intake of alcohol consumption, said sources.
