wat do u mean man!! u mean to say dat women during their menstrual cycle shuld be allowed into temples!! but Y?? ok here is my explanation, biological fluids be it urine/saliva/blood/plasma are easily susceptible to so many viral infections pretty easily, if women r to be allowed to temples during their menstrual cycles, there might be a very high risk of spreading infectious viral agents to every oder person, which is the only reason i believe y women r not allowed into public places....its for everybodys health concern, depends on ur perception how u take it, indulo human rights toppi thotakura ante adi mee karma, diseases spread ayye chances too high...

According to Hindu beliefs a girl should not visit a temple or offer prayers while she is menstruating. According to these beliefs and customs a girl who has periods is impure and hence, should not even touch anything that shall be given as an offering to God. They also cannot take part in the religious ceremonies. But if logic is taken into consideration it is something that is given by God himself. It is the biological key to a woman's motherhood. So how can this be impure?

Even in historic times, menstruation was seen as a time to seclude women from the household. In Mahabharata, it is said that Draupadi was menstruating during her ‘vastra-haran’, and that is why she was in separate quarters, and wearing a single piece of cloth before taking her ritual bath, when she was dragged by Dushasana. Not much has changed since then because even today, girls are asked to stay away from rituals, temples, and anything remotely 'holy'. No touching, because then everything will become 'impure'.

nenu motham chadvale kani first para chadiva and I think the text in Bold is wrong.....its not given by god himself.....menstruating of women started occurring in recent times(from 17th century) and gradually increased and in ancient times women never menstruated....I read a paper from one gynecologist which describes this in more detail and what factors led to women menstruating.

90% of ppl do not know this and also when we can take kids into temple below the age of one who can urinate ?!! then how come a blood which has healing qualities!
