May 30th, 2014, 08:45 AM IST Beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is sulking due to the poll drubbing, has been staying away from media glare. Although Jagan is claiming that his party is principal opposition party in the successor state of Andhra Pradesh and he would be the Opposition leader-elect in the house, Jagan has been mum on various key issues. This is definitely drawing flak from the public and giving scope to question Jagan's credentials. Except for one-single statement he has given in his media group, Jagan hardly came out in media and condemned KCR's comments on Seemandhra government employees. More than that, how could Jagan not even utter a single word against KCR over the most-raging Polavaram Irrigation Ordinance. In fact, CM-elect Naidu reacted very diplomatically and countered KCR by asking him to not to provoke people. It is common fact that the Polavaram ordinance was issued by the outwent UPA government itself which KCR was an eye-witness. Why is Jagan not raking up the issue of Bhadrachalam which was earlier part of Seemandhra and now went to Telangana. Why is "daring" Jagan not even countering KCR's provoking statements?What's brewing between KCR and Jagan? Many people are of the opinion that there is a "hand-in-glove deal" between KCR and Jagan, and that "friendship bond" seems to be holding back Jagan, opine political observers. If Jagan won't step in, as Opposition leader, to safeguard the interests of Seemandhra, there is a danger that people would think rumours about Jagan, KCR's relation is true. Above all, it would be highly difficult for the survival, sustainity of YSR Congress in long run.
