Lokeshbabu Posted May 30, 2014 Report Posted May 30, 2014 Noted Story writer-director Vijayendra Prasad, father of eccentric filmmaker S.S Rajamouli, is in news for wrong reasons. Yalamanchili Civil Court has issued Non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Vijayendra Prasad in a cheque bounce case. Going into details, Vijayendra Prasad has taken remuneration of Rs 30 Lakh from film producer Chengala Venkatrao for Jr NTR's film Narsimhudu. The duo had a fallout on various creative issues over the story of the film which led Vijayendra Prasad to opt out of the project. Chengala Venkatrao had then asked Vijayendra Prasad to return his remuneration. Following this, Vijayendra Prasad has issued a cheque to return the remuneration. That Cheque has been bounced back compelling Chengala Venkatrao to take up the issue legally. Since then, Venkatrao has been battling with Vijayendra Prasad on this cheque bounce case. This issue has been in court for a while. Now, Court has directed NBW against Vijayendra Prasad. More details are yet to be known. Whatever, given the name and fame of Rajamouli, the issue could have been amicably and Rajamouli, who is known as clean-man, should stepin to resolve the issue out of court. Else it may affect his 'brand' name.
