Andaru city kattali ani aaratam lo unnaru. but yela kadthaaru? appu theeskona?

city infrastructure like flyovers, metro, is basically bad return on investment. Only for cities that have already made it. Antha kanna, its better to invest to build industrial infrastructure, like 24/7 power, water, effluent treatment plants, lots of ITIs, good port infra, etc.

SA ki tax exemption kooda ichaaru. Good for businessmen (profit unte), bad for govt finances.

SA state govt should impose a development tax on new industries in the region, even though the central income and sales tax are exempt.

City is built by ingenuity of people living there. Not with money thrown at it, unless you are oil or mineral rich.

Is SA mineral rich enough to waste money on building a city with world class infra?

infrastructure projects are created by taking loan based on state's 'Debt to credit Ratio' but not based on individual city revenue. The state's 'debt to credit ratio' is decided based on revenue from natural resources, income taxes, sales taxes, funds flow from centre, prevailing debts etc. you dont need to worry about this as SA can get debt from banks solely based on natural resources as they are tremondous.

Centre provides special status for 15 years. this means 90% of funds received are considered 'Grants' and no need to repay. only 10% is 'Loan'. Tax exemptions are for businesses only. Whatever is a gap in amount of tax exemptions means, centre provides to state under this 'tax exemption' status. Apart from that, rayalaseema regions are under cabinet proposal to lay out plan for special package just like bundelkhand.

You really dont need this type of tax as it is complicated under constitution since development should be covered under 'income tax' law. so state can only increase either income tax or sales tax. But sales tax increase means businesses also suffer. so only way is to increase income tax.

Your's sambar logic does't work here. People only invest in houses, find jobs and live there only if prosperity is there. if you want to create jobs, you need to have companies are encouraged there. so you need to built a city.

Yes. from boxite, graphite, slates, lime, gas, iron to titanium, its filthy rich. if these mineral mining is properly taxed without corruption and taking current market values while taxing, you can build 10 cities like mumbai in seemandhra alone.

good then, if its that rich in minerals.

I'm not worried. I don't care. I'm not even an Indian. so chill.

I was just wondering that with all these mineral richness, AP still struggles to beat TN, which almost has no resources, in gdp.
