Chandrababu Naidu To Waive Rs 54,000 Crore Loans

AP chief minister designate Chandrababu Naidu is all set to waive Rs 54,000 crore loans taken by farmers from various banks .

TDP chief has promised the farmers during elections that he would write-off all the loans taken by farmers , self-help group loans and the gold loans.

The total burden on the exchequer for implementing loan waiver and self-help loans is 54k thousand , if gold loans are included it pegs upto 60k thousand.

Meanwhile the bankers wanted to clean their balance sheets in the name of loan waiver, The loan waiver in 2008 came to only Rs 9,000 crore. in 5 years it has increased four times the amount.

* loan must be in last 1 year

* max waiver is 1lakh

 

TRS govt already started working on this. total waiver would be 10k crores

 

TDP promised loan waiver for farmers without any conditions

*even richest farmer who have loans will get the waiver

*unlimited loan amount waiver

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Monday released separate election manifestos for Telangana and Seemandhra, promising to waive off farm loans.

Releasing the manifestos, party chief N Chandrababu Naidu told reporters that if voted to power in both the states, the TDP would waive off all loans of the farmers to provide them relief.
