Hyd was built on the back of AP resources, I agree. Whatever TG people claim, it is the truth. that is exactly why AP will do well without any help from the central govt. this special status is unnecessary. Its advantageous for me.. but I'm just wondering if its worth breaking established norms for political reasons. AP doesn't deserve special status ani naa opinion. There are other ways to help AP.

They can increase it to above 50% for new AP, and decrease it for TG. fast track port projects in the region. speedier loans for infra projects in AP. faster environmental clearances for mining projects. a bit of seed money to get AP started, may be around 10k crores. To expect central govt to help AP to build a city is equal to Hyd is just cashing in on your own misery. nothing else. What do you think this special status will accomplish? It will simply enrich AP at the expense of rest of the region. Atleast Uttarakhand, Himachal had the excuse of hilly terrain. AP has no such excuse. Its a matter of time before other state govts protest this ruling.
