Depends on your interest I would say buy a camera that your friends have so that you can share your lenses. Just time pass aithe buy t3i/t4i but with 18-135 lens. By default you will get 18-55 lens instead of that try to see if you can get 18-135mm lens that will do most of the time.

Bottom line time pass or just for the sake of having a dslr camera body doesn't matter.

18-55 is most likely good for indoor photography but outdoor landscaping photography ki telescope lenses baguntayii kaani nuvu no serious photography antunavvu kabatiii initial 18-55 start cheyii later you can switch with lenses.
Outdoor ki 18-55 will do okay obviously focal length antha ga vundadhu but Facebook profile pic adhi challu

18-55 is way very less costly compared to 18-135 so start with 18-55.

Yeah canon t3i or later model anni baguntayii but t4i loo touch screen vuntundhii. So preference bati I would say atleast go with t4i.

DSLR lo auto mode kantey. ..canon S40 tho pics baaga vasthai...basic'Auto' mode photography ki ayithey DSLR is not suggested. Point and shoot loney ekkuva intelligence untundi.
I am a pro-level wedding photographer,and been using all types of photography gear.Don't waste your money on DSLR for basic photography. Invest on DSLR only if you want to make it a serious hobby...my 2 cents.
