If you're anything like me, summertime means more beach days, BBQs with friends and of course the occasional (and sometimes regular) alcoholic beverage. Because let's be honest, it's hard to pass up a refreshing cocktail while you're dining on an outdoor patio.

Lucky for you, staying healthy doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your poolside umbrella drink just because it might house a few extra calories. This chart from Greatist is here to help you break down all of your adult beverage questions. No more standing at the liquor store wondering which hard alcohol has the least amount of calories or carbs.

However, regardless of your choice, it's important to remember moderation.

While this info is helpful in determining what is the least detrimental to your diet, nothing screams unhealthy like a booze-filled bender. Not to mention the grease-induced diet that ensues.

Bottom line: make sure to sip on plenty of water this weekend. Every alcoholic beverage should be complimented by a big glass of H2O. Not only will you feel better come the a.m., but you'll be less likely to polish that drink off too fast.
