nuvvu dependent ga claim cheste...she will nto get that benefit....anduke oka column lo adugutadu...can anyone else can claim u as dependent for tax purposes ani.

Ya chyavachu baa here chiti point is ... i am on h1 kada wife on f1 nanu ssn and medicare taxes kadtha kada if applied jointly .... my wife will also be charged for unnecessary ssn and Medicare taxes as she is in f1...

If you have money I personally prefer F1, why because your wife can able to work after few semesters.
Money enduku invest cheyali ante H4 is the best and you can convert to H1 next year. otherwise story repeats
