The Project is expected to Kick of in 2 months. Get ready to say Good bye to Power Cuts. Union Power minister Piyush Goel has assured AP Chief Minister Chandrababu naidu that the new state will get access to an additional power production capacity of 500 Mega Watts shortly. After meeting Goel, Chandrababu said the Centre will do the needful from NTPC capacities. Goel promised Babu an additional 500 MW capacity will be created in next 12 months and it will benefit both AP and Telangana. A major decision taken today is that NTPC will allow the transport of coal to power plants in AP, he said. Goel said Naidu has never differentiated between people of AP and of Telangana.
