GAIL gas pipeline blast, 18 people burnt alive

Rajahmundry : East Godavari district, A huge fire broke out at mamidikuduru mandal at jisies on Friday morning.NFCL. GFCL, supplying gas to thatipaka Gas Tank through pipelines, Gas leaked from one of the broken pipe and caught fire.

Compared to the previous blow-out this is blast level is low. In this incident 18 people are burned alive and about 20 people were injured severely. Injured people were under treatment in nearby hospital, this incident happened due to gas pipeline detonated with huge sound and the fires is extending to all the neighborhood.

However the intensity of fire is increasing more and more the surroundings are filled with dense smoke, seems to be heavy loss in assets. Residents around the blast are in panic state and at the time of huge sound they ran from their houses to be safe. Anyways after receiving the information GAIL staff reached the spot along with 5 fire engines to take the fire under control and trying to curb the fire, Andhra CM chandrababu naidu has responded immediately and asked investigation team to check the spot and give the report about how the incident happened.
