1099 - Misc On H1B

Friends,

 

i am working on EVC (Empolyer-> vendor-> client). Last year i got $8000 amount from Prime vendor as a Non Employee compensation and i file that 1099-MISC in 2013 tax returns.

 

Lately i realized that it is serious violation.

 

1) Do they cancel my H1B or during the I-485 process if they find?

vayya how u accept 1099 from prime vendor ??? H1 pi 1099 accept cheylemu kadhaa .... first contact tax consultant and see u can amendment it ... then ask u r employer  if they can do   anything to take 1099 to their and add to u r payroll through w2....
