Steelers Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJymMcXtEAw This is an eye-opening story on perceptions and realities. Ever since the state bifurcation issue came to occupy centre-stage, there have been rumours that industries are shifting from Telangana to Seemandhra. And this campaign acquired feverish pitch after bifurcation. Though the industrial atmosphere was not good till recently, stable governments have taken over the two Telugu states after bifurcation. A total of 94,000 companies are registered with the Registrar of Companies (ROC)in the undivided AP. Of them, 73,000 are located in Telangana and 21,000 in Seemandhra region. And the two states have only one ROC as of now and each state will have one ROC soon. ROC N. Krishnamurthi said that so far, no company has approached them. If a company has to shift its registered office, it has to take the approval of ROC in accordance with Section 12 of the Companies Act. Situation can change if residual AP gets Special category status.
