'give One Crore Exgratia To Gas Blast Victims' - Jagan

YSRC president and Opposition leader YS Jagan mohan Reddy who visited Nagaram gas pipe blast victims today has demanded Rs One Crore ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased and said that YSRCP MPs would submit a memorandum to the concerned ministry seeking adequate compensation to the injured and the farmers whose fields were set ablaze in the fire mishap.

Speaking to reporters after consoling the kin of those who lost their lives in the mishap, he blamed it on sheer negligence on part of the oil companies which has led to this tragedy and also demanded the royalty paid for off shore gas and crude also should be hiked. On the lines of state share in Singareni Collieries which is now transferred to Telangana state, AP should have its share in the gas production in KG basin, he said.
