Lemme say some what I have seen there 1. Low Population. I mean bazars, city is not as crowded as Hyderabad, chennai and vijayawada 2. Auto is very cheap compared to our state. 5 miles distance with 4 people will end up with 20 rupees. 3. City is not that much luxurious compared to chennai and hyderabad, nellore cities. 4. Lots of street bazars and fast food centers with less prices. Okka mukkkalo cheppali ante . 10 days surat trip costs me 6000 rupees. 10 days hyderabad trip costs me 20000. 10 days chennai trip costs me 14000. I spended more or less same in all the above cities....

I want to see the difference how the state is . One more thing, I dont see any cheating even if you dont speak in gujarat, shop keepers are very friendly and welcomed me when I say I am from andhra pradesh . Adhe chennai and hyderabad lo naa, mana telugu language chusi both chennai and hyderabad shop keepers and autos everybody trying to get more money from us. I dont see that difference in gujarat. Auto walas take very reasonable prices even though we talk in hindi. I watched couple of telugu films in surat in multiplex. its fun with few less than 10 people in a show. Dheeni gurinchi oka peddha theory undhi naa daggira , time unnappudu I will post in seperate in thread. Hyderabad to surat.

They dont have many engineering colleges and medical colleges comparitvely to otherstates. No wine shops in public. Very less Non-veg. 70-80% are vegetarians. They have lots of good textiles and diamonds. Malls are not crowded like chennai and hyderabad . pleasant atmosphere.plenty of space. No need to pay for the parking . where as in chennai and hyderabad malls they charge 30-40 rupees per hour depending onthe place. You dont need to worry about the movie tickets , If you try you can easily get it. But where as in chennai and hyderabad movie tickets are like visa tickets. you have to book in advance otherwise postpone to other day. People from different states come to surat ,buy textiles and diamonds as a whole sale . For example:- Ladies dresses costs 1000 rupees in surat same to same same thing will costs more than 20000 rupees in hyderabad in charminar center. Even if you bargain you will end up with 15000 rupees.
