I worked with one employer for 20 months. After finishing my contract, employer fails to get me a job in a month.

I am on salary basis with him for  20 months  along with the bench pay and the vacation pay options. During my bench I request him to pay either my vacation pay or bench pay to run my family. He said he will give after I get the new contract. 

I lost my patience and I jumped to the full time as soon as I get the opportunity during my bench . 

My old employer filed a  law suit case on me using his marketing resources for one month which costs 10000 rupees and the breach of contract.

If I lost the case I have to pay 15000 $to employer and fine will be around 10000 $ to continue further .

No contract will be valid in US courts. Your employer cannot restrict you to any bond on H1B. If he doesn't pay you on bench then he is screwed if you file a single complaint to Labor department.
