PHP / Drupal Developer

The Drupal Developer will work on project teams that include a project manager, skilled designers, content developers, and programmers. The ideal candidate has a broad understanding Drupal, CSS and PHP and can translate client requirements into appropriate Drupal configurations. This is a w-2 position with a flexible commitment of 30-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities Include
• Assist with medium to large scale website development projects
• Create elegant and efficient programming solutions that are flexible and forward-compatible
• Debug and troubleshoot issues
• Configure servers and databases
• Provide appropriate documentation both in program code and user documentation.
• Follow industry standard testing (unit and system) practices
• Availability during core work hours – 10 AM – 3 PM, M-F

Skills and Experience Required
• Expert programmer in the LAMP environment
• LAMP server setup (firewall and ssl certificate setup experience a plus)
• 2+ years as a Drupal developer with a solid understanding of the framework, coding best-practices, resources and community
• Strong knowledge of Drupal modules - Experience developing custom modules a plus
• Solid understanding of the web medium, and the tools and trends that are evolving it
• Expert knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript
• Knowledge of .NET, .ASP and DotNetNuke CMS a plus
• Experience with open source CMS, CRM and AMS platforms
• Capacity to multi-task, balancing multiple priorities and interruptions
• Strong attention to detail; excellent analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
