Someone told me , there is 30 % fee for some $$ conversion , so I will lose almost half every time ! So , wat shall i do ? Should I take a new card ? to use it here ? Pls let me know :)

Pls let me know :) its not 30% ..its abt 3% ...i used to use my indian visa and master cards initially in the US when i came fr my masters...but u have to let ur bank knw that u will be using them out of country or else they wont work

SO its better for you take cash at one time with max allowed. so your transaction fee is charged once only..... maa friends elaa chesavaruu
