timmy Posted July 11, 2014 Report Posted July 11, 2014 Chittoor district police officials got a breakthrough in red sandal smuggling cases. They caught kingpins of the smuggling mafia. International smugglers Riyaz khan, Sharavanan, Lakshman Nayak, Ramesh and Vijaya Kumar were arrested by Chittoor police. One Eicher vehicle, one Bolero vehicle, 12 logs of red sandal, cash of Rs.3,94,000 were recovered from them. Meanwhile Cuddappah police arrested 40 labourers, who were working for smugglers of red sandal. They also caught a lorry, with red sandal logs.
