Hyderabad is known for pearls since ages. And the city has earned its name as city of pearls during the Nizam era. And now, a Pearl Museum has been started in Hyderabad, the first-ever such museum in India. The museum has come up on MG Road in Secunderabad. The museum enlightens visitors on how the ancient Egyptians and Chinese used pearls. Visitors to the museum will also come to know how a pearl is formed under water.
