Much fuss about nothing!

I see so much commotion being made about passing of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation (Amendment) Bill. TRS is accusing the Centre of not debating, and that it was against the interests of tribals. I’d like to lay to rest all speculation.

Merger of parts of Telangana with Andhra Pradesh was included in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill passed in the Lok Sabha during UPA’s last days at office. The TRS didn't bat an eye lid when the whole world was shouting themselves hoarse over the conduct of the House during the passing of the bill. After coming to power, instead of focusing on good governance and welfare of people, they are resorting to mudslinging and making baseless allegations.

I’d like to reaffirm that our Government is committed to rehabilitate the displaced tribals and will make all efforts to ensure security and a great quality of life for them. A strict no-compromise policy will be embraced so as not to hurt their sentiments. I strongly suggest that the TRS prioritize development of the State, instead of raking up emotions to polarize. I am ready to take forward steps towards working with them for betterment of both the States.
