Halal foods are foods that Muslims are allowed to eat or drink under Islamic Shariʻah.

The food must come from a supplier that uses halal practices. Specifically, the slaughter must be performed by a Muslim, who must precede the slaughter by invoking the name of Allah, most commonly by saying "Bismillah" ("In the name of God") and then three times "Allahu akbar" (God is the greatest).. Then, the animal must be slaughtered with a sharp knife by cutting the throat, windpipe and the blood vessels in the neck, causing the animal’s death without cutting the spinal cord. Lastly, the blood from the veins must be drained.

 

Muslims must also ensure that all foods (particularly processed foods), as well as non-food items like cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, are halal. Frequently, these products contain animal by-products or other ingredients that are not permissible for Muslims to eat or use on their bodies.

 

The Halal method:-

With the halal method of slaughter, there was not change in the EEG graph for the first three seconds after the incision was made, indicating that the animal did not feel any pain from the cut itself. This is not surprising. Often, if we cut ourselves with a sharp implement, we do not notice until some time later. The following three seconds were characterised by a condition of deep sleep-like unconciousness brought about by the draining of large quantities of blood from the body.  Thereafter the EEG recorded a zero reading, indicating no pain at all, yet at that time the heart was still beating and the body convulsing vigorously as a reflex reaction of the spinal cord. It is this phase which is most unpleasant to onlookers who are falsely convinced that the animal suffers whilst its brain does actually no longer record any sensual messages.

 

Why Halal food is Good for Everyone?

Halal meat tastes better, is more tender, is healthier and stays fresh longer because the absence of blood makes it resistant tobacteria. where as the other ways of killing animal keeps blood drain in the body with lot of bacteria. 

 

There is a misconception in the america that animals were killed by playing the recordings of mulsims wordings and kills the animal in a normal way. This wrong. I have been to so many halal slaughter houses in america personally and have seen the way they slaughter the animal. 

First thing is A muslim man slaughters the animal by giving some water to the animal before they slaughter. The reason is its not killing the animal with thirst . They slaughter with a sharp knife by cutting its throat, by this the animal doesnt feel any pain and goes to unconscious immediately and dies after that.  Later they allow to get out of the blood from the animal and wash properly by removing and cleaning each part of the blood  and later cut the flesh into pieces where as the other slaughters they dont clean it, they just ground the animal sometimes with skins,feet,including some small bones.

its true...ma intlo amma vari pooja chesinappudu during dussera..

 

we too follow the same procedure...incision chesi..we drain out the blood, and i observed that the goat doesnt feel pain during that phase...

 

adi pain lo unte daani legs kottukuntadi..whcih is not the case..
