timmy Posted July 14, 2014 Author Report Posted July 14, 2014 Andra Pradesh Reorganisation(amendment) Bill 2014 was passed in Rajya Sabha. The Bill was presented in Rajya Sabha by union home minister Rajnath Singh today after noon. After 3 hours of heated discussion, at last the bill was passed. With this development, all hurles to Polavaram project were removed. Seven mandals of Khammam district would be merged into Andhra Pradesh. Rajnath Singh said that the government would take care of the evacuated people.
