Generally a hen dies within minutes after cutting its head. But a hen had lived for 12 hours approximately even after losing its head. This incident happened on Sunday in Dharmavaram town of Ananthapur district. Gopi, owner of a chicken centre in Dharmavaram, received a few hens on Saturday night from Bangalore. On the morning of Sunday, he cut one of the hens. But it did not die immediately. Gopi as well as the residents nearby wondered at this and consulted veterinary doctor.
