Another Huge fine on Reliance

Reliance allegely faced another huge fine from the central government. Coming to the details Reliance has taken the responsiblity to extract natural gas from KG gas basin near Krishna, godavari oil firms. The fine was imposed due to the failure of extracting the prescribed quantity of gas from the basin. Reliance has already faced fines from the governemnt for 6 times and recently government has imposed another fine of 579 million dollars. Regarding this petrolium minister has spoken to freeonlineg media and he said that he has discussed and released bill in the Loksabha on Monday. Till now total amount of the fine imposed is around 2,376 billion dollars upon Reliance. Reliance has reported that they has requested the governemnt to increase price of the gas as their mantenance cost is become more than the price giving from the governemnt , so Reliance willingly reduced the production of gas from the Basin, as these allegations were the main reason to drop the production of gas from the basin.

These allegations were following since the last goverenment, Reliance always used to give less production as with this reason Ex CM of Andhra pradesh Y S Rajashekar reddy also complained to the central governemnt (Congress) at that time. Regarding this congress also warned reliance to increase the production quantity as soon, but still reliance did not took any action regarding this, but the present government has started a new way of imposing fines upon the Reliance.
