Mostly anni plans ... okate .... of the two categories .... first decide which one you would like to go .... one with less money and less options in it and you need to pay for each and every thing and the other one is with some options and insurance will be able to pay a good amount if some thing happens .. which is a bit costlier

my advice...visitors insurance insurance are cheap..about 100-200  dollars max....

 

but they come with a lot of exclusions pertaining to pre existing conditions. i agree they may help during accidents...and new conditions only...

 

most of these insurance companies will always try to deny claims...

 

if possible call kaiser permanente (if you have access to a kaiser facility close by for regualar visits...emergency it will cover everywhere)...if you can get a policy with them then they cover like regular US based insurance companies which are better in claim settlements.
