Go to SBI take travellers check , you can deposit that in to your US bank account

india lo banks lo $ konali ante vallu ekkuva chesi ammutharu for example say if the $ rate is 60.19 they sell it for you at 62 or 61. something.

 

best and cheap would be ask your friends to adjust the money in US and you give them money in India at 60.19. (This way both will be benifited.)
