long story shot ... its a strange issue .. actually no one owned the land where israel was formed , british ppl initially owned the region for several centuries but after WW1 they though of backing away from the region , they thought of splitting the region into two but arabs strongly opposed it back then , so, vaallaki region ni ela split cheyyalo teliyaledu and they had it under their control untill the end of WW2 , in the meanwhile the arabs and jews strted fighting internally and WW2 time lo jewish population significantly perigindhi ah region lo because millions of ppl migrated there to get out of the holocaust done by hitler during WW2...

 

so after WW2 britian was bankrupt and they had to back away from the region at any cost , so, handed the issue over to the UN .. so UN took the population charts and divided the region into two states ( arab and jewish )  ... jewish ppl got more than 50% of the land because of the population density (which was a result of migration of jewish ppl from europe during the holocaust ) ... jewish ppl were OK with it but arab ppl opposed jewish ppl getting such a big area, this started a war right after the day the split happened...the war started in 1948 and continue untill 1970s ..

 

during that war both the regions started fighting for Jerusalem because it was on the border of both the states and west jeruselam has jewish majority and east jeruselam has muslim majority ..

 

both the countries want jeruselam for themselves because its the holiest of the places for both the religions.... judaism was found in in jeruselam and  for muslims its the third most sacred place(after mecca and medina) ..... this started off an ugly religion was and the middle east supported israel in this issue and the US supported Israel ... mean while these dumbass terrorists supported by arabs started attacks on jewish civilians and israel retaliated.... these terrorists named themselves as HAMAS and were officially supported by palestine and funded by Middle east , they became politically prominent and strted running a parallel govt in Palestine ,
