Apart from the PPAs in thermal power, PPAs in non-conventional energy plants are also harming Telangana, Telangana Vidyut JAC leader Raghu says. In ear future, About 600 MW of power capacity will be added through non-conventional energy projects like solar and wind power in Anantapur and Kurnool. As per GO.53 issued in the undivided state, this power belongs to residual AP only. But T officials argue that the GO is nullified after the AP Reorganization Act came int o force. they ay that AP should get oly 200 MW and Telangana 400 MW.
