The P Kotaiah Committee which was asked to prepare the report on crop loan reschedule and waiver has submitted its final report to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu. The former chairman of NABARD, P Kotaiah, who is heading the committee, in its recommendations has suggested having a cap of Rs 1.5 lakh per family for the relief towards crop loans. it has also suggested issue of bonds to facilitate the process. The AP government is likely to take up the issue seeing the modalities of the reports keeping in mind the RBI's norms.
