'TDP is villain no. 1 for Telangana'---Nijamenaaa?

That Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao is very inconsistent in his statements on the Telangana issue was once again evident on Friday.

After holding detailed discussions with Srikrishna Committee members in New Delhi, KCR held a press conference, where he blamed it on the Telugu Desam Party for the entire turn around in the political situation on the Telangana issue. “It is villain no.1 with regard to Telangana. Because of its inconsistent stand, the government had to backtrack on its promise,” he said.

A few days ago, while participating in a party meeting in Telangana Bhavan, KCR described the Congress as the main villain on Telangana. He said then that the party had succumbed to the pressures from Seemandhra leaders and went back on its promise. In 2004, KCR had alliance with the Congress; and then in 2009, he had joined hands with the TDP, saying the latter had supported Telangana cause. A few days before the result, KCR had joined hands with the NDA. It makes one wonder how many villains KCR has in the state.
